Lindsay was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She is a Michigan-licensed attorney who has a passion for helping entrepreneurs and businesses navigate trademarks, copyrights, contracts, and small business matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2019 and went on to work as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. After completing her clerkship at the Bankruptcy Court and, with a background in sales and marketing, Lindsay formed Lane Law, PLLC.

As an intellectual property and small business attorney, Lindsay knows and understands that a strong brand is more than just a pretty logo, it's your business’s fingerprint. She helps entrepreneurs, content creators, startups, and small business owners lock down their brand identities before someone else tries to cash in on their brilliance. Whether your business is more established or you are just getting started, Lindsay provides sharp insight on industry trends and a strategic approach and perspective on various legal issues.

When she is not protecting her clients’ brand rights and businesses, Lindsay serves as of counsel and a legal consultant to solo and boutique law firms, offering strategic guidance in intellectual property and a broad range of other legal matters. Her support often includes advising on trademark and copyright issues, researching complex legal issues, reviewing and negotiating contracts, drafting key legal documents, and providing insight on litigation strategy.

Outside of her practice and the legal world, Lindsay is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and coffee enthusiast who also loves fashion, sports, traveling, and a good movie or show/series, ideally with popcorn in hand.
