Protecting brands, businesses, and the work entrepreneurs build every day.
LINDSAY LANE, ESQ.
Founder & Managing Attorney
Strategic legal guidance for entrepreneurs who take their brands seriously.
Meet Lindsay
Lindsay Lane founded Lane Law with a clear purpose: to help entrepreneurs and business owners protect what they’re building before problems arise. With a background that blends law, strategy, and business insight, she approaches legal work as a foundation for long-term growth, not a last-minute fix.
Lindsay is a Michigan-licensed attorney with focused experience in trademarks, copyrights, contracts, and small business matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2019 and went on to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Her experience in the federal judiciary strengthened her ability to analyze complex legal issues, balance competing arguments, and anticipate how disputes evolve. After completing her clerkship at the Bankruptcy Court, and leveraging her background in sales and marketing, Lindsay established Lane Law, creating a firm centered on strategic, forward-thinking counsel for businesses.

Protecting More Than a Logo
Lindsay believes a strong brand is more than visual identity, it’s a business’s fingerprint. She works with entrepreneurs, content creators, startups, and small business owners to secure their brand identities with intention, clarity, and foresight.
Whether a client is just getting started or refining an established business, Lindsay provides thoughtful guidance grounded in industry awareness and practical legal strategy.
Trusted Counsel
In addition to her work with Lane Law clients, Lindsay serves as of counsel and a legal consultant to solo and boutique law firms. Her work often includes advising on intellectual property matters, researching complex legal issues, reviewing and negotiating contracts, drafting key legal documents, and offering strategic insight on broader legal challenges.
Outside of her legal work, Lindsay enjoys discovering new restaurants, a great cup of coffee, fashion, sports, and traveling. She also appreciates a good film or series, ideally with popcorn close by.
