Refund Policy

Lane Law, PLLC requires the payment of a fee for scheduling certain services.  Any fee associated with scheduling such service(s) shall be deemed non refundable. You shall not be entitled to a refund, partial or otherwise.

Chargebacks. Clients agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute with their bank or credit card provider for any reason without first contacting Lane Law, PLLC in writing and allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue

Required Dispute Process

All billing questions, concerns, or disputes must be submitted in writing to admin@lindsaylanelaw.com within seven (7) days of the charge. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the charge as valid.

Legitimate Charges

Chargebacks are expressly prohibited, including but not limited to:

  • Dissatisfaction with results or outcomes; failure to understand the scope of services; change of mind or buyer’s remorse; services already rendered or work already commenced; or digital products, downloadable materials, or non-refundable retainers

Evidence of Authorization

By completing a purchase, the client authorizes Lane Law, PLLC to charge the selected payment method and acknowledges that:

  • The charge is valid and authorized; services may begin immediately upon payment;d documentation,

  • The Firm is authorized to use client or user communications, contracts, and delivered work as evidence to contest any chargeback

Fees & Costs

If a chargeback is initiated in violation of this policy, the client agrees to be responsible for:

  • The full disputed amount; any chargeback or dispute fees assessed by the payment processor

  • Reasonable administrative, collection, and legal costs incurred (including reasonable attorneys’ fees)

  • These amounts may be charged to the client’s payment method on file or pursued through collection or legal action.

Suspension of Services

Any active services, deliverables, or access may be immediately suspended or terminated upon initiation of a chargeback or payment dispute.

Fraudulent Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback after services have been rendered or work has begun may be treated as fraud. Lane Law, PLLC reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies.

Governing Law

This Chargeback Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Reinstatement fee

Any prepared trademark application that is not filed within sixty (60) days, or by any specific trademark deadline communicated by the Firm, shall be subject to a $150 administrative and reinstatement fee.

Storage and Protection of User Information

The Firm securely stores your data within WIX, the website hosting platform utilized by the Firm, and Practice Panther, the business management platform utilized by the Firm. Please also consult and review their respective Privacy Policies for further information. We retain your information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide you with services.

Applicable Law

This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, U.S.A., without reference to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree that the laws of the state of Michigan will govern these Terms and Conditions of Use and any dispute that may arise between you and Lane Law, PLLC or its affiliates. Lane Law, PLLC makes no representation that the materials are appropriate or available for use outside the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, you will be responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree to comply with all laws and regulations applicable to your use of this site. Any dispute arising herein shall be adjudicated by the Oakland County Court, applying Michigan law.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

The failure of Lane Law, PLLC to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of this Agreement by Lane Law, PLLC must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Lane Law, PLLC.

Termination

Lane Law, PLLC may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without notice, for any reason at its sole discretion.

Relationship of the Parties

Nothing contained in this Agreement or your use of the Site shall be construed to constitute either party as a partner, joint venturer, employee or agent of the other party, nor shall either party hold itself out as such. Neither party has any right or authority to incur, assume or create in writing or otherwise, any warranty, liability or other obligation of any kind, express or implied, in the name of or on behalf of the other party, it being intended by both parties that each shall remain independent contractors responsible for its own actions.

Entire Agreement

This Terms of Use constitutes the entire agreement between you and Lane Law, PLLC and governs the terms and conditions of your use of the Website, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between you and Lane Law, PLLC with respect to this Site. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may also be subject to additional terms and conditions, posted policies (including but not limited to the Privacy Policy), guidelines, or rules that may apply when you use the website.

Lane Law, PLLC may revise this Terms of Use at any time by updating this Agreement and posting it on the Site. Accordingly, you should visit the Site and review the Terms of Use periodically to determine if any changes have been made. Your continued use of this website after any changes have been made to the Terms of Use signifies and confirms your acceptance of any such changes or amendments to the Terms of Use.
